  • Reinforced with Iron Knees®: an invisible polyester patch that adds double the durability where trousers need it most
  • Durable brushed cotton twill, washed down for softness and a well-loved look
  • Hidden-adjustable waist for a great fit
  • Flapped back pockets, side slant pockets
  • 100% cotton; machine wash

Comments about Boys' Iron Knee Cadet Trousers:

Unworn as yet, because they are HUGE. My son is a slight 8yo, and age 7 jeans and trousers are getting a little small. He can wear 8y jeans from Sainsburys with a small roll up at the bottom and the waistband tightened. These age 8 trousers have more than 2 inches spare at the waist and 4 inches at the bottom. They look like good quality fabric and construction but we'll not be able to try them out for another couple of years probably! The cord trousers from Landsend are a better fit, but still significantly larger/longer than the equivalent in supermarkets. Unfortunately, there seems to be a gap in the size range - 5-6, then 8-9 so we're stuck!
