Comments about Boys' Patterned Stormer Jacket:

Great jacket, loved it, both me and my son. Wish this would fit a slimmer kid. Unfortunately, it is not so. My son is very slim, so this comfortable and stylish jacket is not designed for him.. :(

Comments about Boys' Patterned Stormer Jacket:

My son likes the look of it, and I'm sure this will be a useful, practical coat when he grows into it! (He's a good average almost 12 year-old, and I thought the size 11-12 would fit him now, even knowing that Land's End sizes are on the large side). I think it would look much better if the lighter squares were white, instead of the dull mid-grey that they are. It doesn't look as warm as I thought it might, but it will be spring before it fits him anyway, so that's ok.

  • Q:

Hi, i'm looking to get this for my 9 year old son who is on the tall side for his age. I see you only have 8-9 or 10-11. What size would be more appropriate for him...i read that the sizing is on the bigger side for this jacket? Also, what temperatures is this good for? Thanks.

      A:

This jacket is classed as "warm" and is suitable for moderate winter temperatures. At the moment we have S, M and L in stock in the deep cinnabar print. The size S (8-9) is 22.5" in length approximately, the M (10-11) around 2" longer.

  • Q:

I'm looking for a light weight packable jacket, for cooler, wetter summer evenings. Also to wear with a fleece in Autumn and Spring. Is this jacket suitable?

      A:

This jacket has 100 gram polyester insulation, therefore will not be as lightweight and packable as you are looking for. I would recommend trying one of our Navigator Rain Jackets such as 443477.
