    Comments about Girls' Lightweight Down Jacket:

    The colour + contrast colour is fantastic. But this jacket is really lightweight and I'm not sure when a child would wear it. For the price, I need a "winter coat" and although the description said it was rated "warmer" when it arrived I felt that it was quite light weight. If you have a big clothing budget, this would be a nice lightweight down jacket? if you need such a thing? A hoody would be more sensible. In the end, we returned it and bought a more substantial down coat from Lands End.

    How To Measure

    To be sure of accurate readings, measure over the undergarments they’ll be wearing, not over their outer clothing. If you need a tape measure, please e-mail us or call us, and we’ll whisk one off to you absolutely free!

    Height

    Stand in stocking feet, with feet together and back to a wall. Measure from the floor to the top of the head.

    Chest

    With arms relaxed at sides, measure over the fullest part of the chest and shoulder blades, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.

    Waist

    Measure around the waist (not over trousers) at the height where trousers are normally worn.

    Hips

    Stand with heels together, and measure around the fullest part of the hips.
