Comments about Men's Classic Squall Jacket:

Nice jacket; I've had 3 over the years BUT the grey fleece lining kills the nice colour. This one was dark Kelly green and the grey ruined it. The red jacket you used to do was also ruined but you've now changed the lining to navy and it looks great. Get rid of the grey; really the designer is much at fault for this mistake. Use a green lining or navy or black but NOT light/med grey.

Comments about Men's Classic Squall Jacket:

My first squall was bought, perhaps, ten years ago. I never got tired of it as it was really very comfortable. With age, however, it became susceptable to rain.

After a long wait, this new vesion is now available. Much improved and with a 'baggy' feel that just lets you know you can wear most anything you wish under it. The material looks to be really tough and shows all good signs of being totally water and wind proof.

My only criticism is the very soft material used for the cuffs which already shows signs of wear & pilling. The jacket is now a few months old but has not seen undue use yet. Room for improvement here, otherwise a great, great product. Thank you Lands End!

Have had Lands' End squall jackets for years and they last years. They are just so comfortable and ideal for the casual outdoors. My only complaint is that the colour choices have been reduced over the years.

This my second buy form Land's End, both jackets. Very good value for money, not too heavy, unlike ite rivals, comfortable to wear stylish yet not too flash. The only downside i find is no mobile phone pocket.

    • Q:

      Dear Sirs,
I have a Squall type jacket bought from yourselves many years ago which has given me great service but unfortunately, the elastic/fabric hem has lost its elasticity and I would like to know if you can repair my jacket and what would the likely cost be?
      Many thanks,
      Ian Robertson.
