Comments about Men's Heritage Rain Slicker:

Feels 1/2 size too small, I cannot get a thick jumper under it, but luckily the jacket itself is quite warm. Very happy with its waterproofness.Colour nice and bright and I like the striped lining.

    Not a good buy

    By Critic

    Pros

    • Water Resistant

    Cons

    • Poor value for money

    Best Uses

Comments about Men's Heritage Rain Slicker:

It certainly keeps the rain out but due to the material you sweat like mad inside -- there are no vents to let the heat out. Also, even in light rain the hood must be up as it is lined with cloth and quickly gets soaking wet. The snap catches are also very difficult to open once closed and are prone to tearing the material.

Not at all a good purchase -- but the color is nice.

      About Me Casual Dresser

      Pros

      • Wrinkle Resistant

      Cons

      • Rain Gets Into Cuffs
      • Rivets Hard To Open
      • Will Eventually Tear

      Best Uses

      • Taking Dog Out In Rain

Comments about Men's Heritage Rain Slicker:

Difficult from photo to see what the material is:it's like a thin-sheet PVC. The riveted buttons are difficult to open and you can tell that eventually they will tear if you use force to open them, so the zip is the best bet if you want it to last. Feels cheap and disappointing. In rain, the arms near the wrists got wet- so not that rain-proof. Would not recommend this.

          A:

This does depend on which size you order. The measurement is taken from the centre back position (just under the collar) straight down. Approximate measurements are: M - 31.5", L - 32.25" and the XL - 33".

      • Q:

How small can it be packed and how heavy is it. Going to NZ where it could be wet, but previously will be in hot climate and would not want to have to wear it - but pack it economically.

The weight and pack dimensions will vary with size, however we have checked one in size Small; it weighs less than 8 ounces, and packs down to 11” x 8” x 5”.

          A:

The sample I have checked is a small size, so the measurements I can supply at the moment are approximate. The mens slicker will weigh less than 8 ounces. The one I have here packages up to 11" x 8" x5" - it does not pack up as small as a kagoule, but I'm sure would be versatile for your purpose.

The shell of the jacket is made from 100% polyurethane, and it has a lining of pure cotton. This gives a jacket which is totally waterproof, yet is light in weight and comfortable to wear.

Hi, is the Polyurethane material used for making this jacket breathable? If so is it high, medium or low.

The material in these jacket is totally waterproof, however it is not breathable. For this reason the jacket has underarm grommets to aid ventilation and to increase comfort for the wearer.
