Poplin's a plainweave fabric, so it naturally feels smooth. But we found ways to create a shirt with a degree of smoothness that's nothing short of astounding. We selected an extra-fine poplin, woven from single-ply yarns; chose Supima® - the longest, finest, softest cotton grown in the US; then sueded the fabric for a peachy finish. Long sleeve shirt with classic buttondown collar. 100% Supima cotton. Machine wash.

    This is a good quality shirt, I like both the fabric (middling weight of soft cotton) and the colour. I had the red stripe, I wish I'd bought the blue too now.

    The cut is slightly tailored, more so than usual for Land's End. I like this but if you prefer more space at the waist then check the measurements.

        Meduim - Chest 45½ inches – Sleeves 35 inches
        Large - Chest 49½ inches – Sleeves 36 inches
        X-Large - Chest 53½ inches – Sleeves 37 inches

    Chest

    With arms relaxed at your sides, measure over the fullest part of your chest and shoulder blades, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
