Comments about Men's Down Parka:
I bought these for a 2 week work trip to Mongolia in temperatures in the minus 20s and 30s Celsius. The coat (and hood, importantly) were very useful - lightweight enough to wear over a suit without looking like Michelin man. After walking for 30 minutes in minus 35 I arrived warm.
My only reservations were (i) it would be better if the coat reached your knees rather than (in my case, and I'm only 1.8m tall) mid-thigh, and (ii) it would be better to have some inside pockets at chest height, for easier access to stuff like wallet or phone. These would be preferable to the outside hand-warmer pockets, which are too high to be truly comfortable.
I noticed too that many people walking the streets needed a muffler over mouth and nose, to stop the worst effects of freezing air and winds. So why not incorporate something like this into the hood - maybe something detachable ? Without it, you need to use something like a scarf wrapped around your head, which tends to slip down or tickle your face all the time....
