Comments about Men's Traditional Fit Poplin Shirt:

My husband is a size 17 and likes a roomy shirt. He was very pleased with this one. I think he looks terrific in the yellow check. A happy colour that makes me smile. I have just ordered him a blue one as well.

Comments about Men's Traditional Fit Poplin Shirt:

Lands End's Oxford cotton button-downs are simply superb, but the cotton in these poplin shirts feels cheap. I don't expect they will last anywhere near as well as the Oxfords.

        A:

As you wiil see this shirt is available with a range of sleeve lengths. For example in a Regular fitting this shirt has a choice of sleeve lengths in a 16" collar size of 33", 34", and 35".
In the Tall fitting the sleeve lengths available are longer.
The sleeve length is measured from the centre of the back, i.e. over the shoulder, around a bent elbow, doen to the cuff.

    • Q:

I've received my order #: 6628276 - 2 shirts (ordered by my wife - Olga Shimansky). Size: 16H33. The problem is that neck size 16H is a right size for me but shirts are bigger than my size - shirts arm length is longer and chest size is bigger than my size. My arm length is 30 inch and chest 40 inch. I can't find my size. Alex

What dos the H together with size figures stand for. Or what is the difference between 16H and 17H if any?

        A:

The 'H' stands for half. For example a collar size of 16½ inches.
