Very poor sizing!

Comments about Women's Plain Short Sleeve Piqué Polo:

I ordered a petite small size - its enormous! 40 inches round the bust isn't small in my book. Collar is a strange cut - too narrow. I'm not impressed with Lands End sizing these days - very poor quality control over the range.

Comments about Women's Plain Short Sleeve Piqué Polo:

Very disappointed with current product. Have had many polos from Lands End and this is no where near previous quality or style. Just feel it now looks old-fashioned. Service as usual was good.

Comments about Women's Plain Short Sleeve Piqué Polo:

I am disappointed with the quality of this new version of your classic polo. I ordered a Petite as I noticed that the Regular size is now even longer. It has stretched in the wash and is now more like a smock. Also it has creased badly. I have several of your pure cotton Pima & Pique polos and these washed perfectly, and are a more flattering fit. I will not be buying any more until the fabric and fit are revised.

The red is very red, but will fade with use. I also think the prices rather high on all Tshirts/Polos.

Good range of colour for the summer. Hope there's just as good a range in the cotton/modal T shirts in the high summer brochure.

What is the difference between pique cotton and Pima cotton?
          Asked on 4/14/2013 by None

            A:

The difference between pique and pima cotton is its knitting type and the texture of the final fabric. Pique knit is a knitting method that creates a fine textured surface that appears similar to a waffle weave or birds-nest. pima knit is a fabric that has two ply knits simultaneously to form one thicker and heavier ply. It has more natural stretch than a jersey knit, a soft feel and the same appearance and feel on both sides. Interlock fabric will be thicker where as the pique fabrics will be fine textured with a waffle design knit. As interlock fabrics are thicker it will have more elasticity comparing to the pique fabric.
