I am between a US4 and US6. I am not sure which size to choose in this product because a US6 to me would be a UK8. I have purchased the starfish slacks from you in the small and they are quite large on me. What would you recommend in the above product.Asked on 3/17/2013 by Dainty Dot1 answer

Without your actual body measurements, it can be a little difficult to advise the correct size. However, the US size 4 (UK size 8) has a garment waist of 28 inches and a seat measurement of 37.5 inches. The US size 6 (UK size 10) has a garment waist of 29 and a garment seat of 38.5 inches.Answered on 3/18/2013 by Sally from Lands' End

These are a Fit 2 which sits slightly below the natural waist, this is approximately ½ inch - the natural waist will however be different from person to person.

Unfortunately not; these trousers come in a standard length of 32” in the regular fitting, and due to the shaping of the bottom of the leg we are unable to hem them.
However could I suggest that you consider the petite fitting for these trousers? These have a leg length of 29.5” in all sizes, and are otherwise of the same size, apart from being 0.5” shorter in the front and back rise.
