I love the colour and the fit was ok. However, the quality is nowhere near the other Lands End cord trousers that I own and they crumple badly in the wash, unlike the others which do not need ironing. They are also very noisy! and they are driving me mad with the noise that they make when you walk along. Ultimately, that is the reason that I am going to return them.

These stretch cords are the most comfortable I have ever bought! The fit is great, no "bag" at the back, and for me the perfect length (I am 5ft tall). Tuck into boots well too. I wish I'd ordered more now!

I'm sure I've already reviewed these? The colours are not like the ones I see on my screen, umber was more like caramel, I died them dark brown and now much better. The upper legs are quite baggy, not slim leg at all, so will be taking them in when I get round to it. Meanwhile they are wearable and useful. Knocked off one star for the fit and one for the colour weirdness. Glad I got them in the sale!

How To measure
If possible, get a friend to help. To be sure of accurate readings, measure over the undergarments you’ll be wearing with your purchase, not over your outer clothing. If you need a tape measure, please e-mail us or call us, and we’ll whisk one off to you absolutely free!
Height
Stand in bare feet with your feet slightly apart and your back to a wall. Measure from the top of your head to the floor.
Waist
Measure around your waist at the height where you normally wear your trousers. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.
Hips
Stand with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Inseam
Take a pair of trousers that fit you well. Measure from crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Free Hemming
Most trousers can be custom finished with plain hems or turn-ups to the nearest 1/2" (1.5 cm). For styles where turn-ups are not available, no turn-up selection box will appear on the ordering page.
Regular trousers can have turn-ups from 27"– 32" (68.5 cm – 81.5 cm), and without turn-ups, can be hemmed from 27"– 34" (68.5 cm – 86.5 cm), or left unfinished for you to hem yourself.
Petite trousers can have turn-ups from 25"-29" (63.5 cm – 74 cm), and without turn-ups, can be hemmed from 25"-31" (63.5 cm – 78.5 cm), or left unfinished for you to hem yourself.
