The fit of Lands' End trousers are the best I can find - I've got a slight podgy tum but small waist and hips. Excellent that I can have my actual leg length. Hate seeing trousers either too short or too long.

I bought these chinos I the sale and they are great value for money. They are slightly baggy, which I like because they are more comfortable than my others which are a slimmer fit. I like the fact you ca chose your inside leg length and when you get the trousers, guess what? They fit!

These chinos fit me perfectly in all directions. I like being able to order the length - but if the waist is too big, you might find the length too long. None of that was a problem in this case. They are of good sturdy material and well made. The colour French Walnut was disappointing at first, but as a background colour, it's fine and I am very pleased.

these arrived pleasingly quick but was very disappointed. The chinos looked as if they had been hanging around a warehouse floor for a week - not the usual quality product. They were in the sale which was something, def not worth the full price that had been asked. When arrived it looked like they had been worn and washed about 3 or 4 times....the colour was supposed to be "true Navy" and not the washed out blue colour that arrived. Turned out they were too tight but I would not have kept them even if they fitted properly. Annoyed that I have now had to pay postage to return a poor quality item, so now I am out of pocket.

How To measure
If possible, get a friend to help. To be sure of accurate readings, measure over the undergarments you’ll be wearing with your purchase, not over your outer clothing. If you need a tape measure, please e-mail us or call us, and we’ll whisk one off to you absolutely free!
Height
Stand in bare feet with your feet slightly apart and your back to a wall. Measure from the top of your head to the floor.
Waist
Measure around your waist at the height where you normally wear your trousers. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.
Hips
Stand with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Inseam
Take a pair of trousers that fit you well. Measure from crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Free Hemming
Most trousers can be custom finished with plain hems or turn-ups to the nearest 1/2" (1.5 cm). For styles where turn-ups are not available, no turn-up selection box will appear on the ordering page.
Regular trousers can have turn-ups from 27"– 32" (68.5 cm – 81.5 cm), and without turn-ups, can be hemmed from 27"– 34" (68.5 cm – 86.5 cm), or left unfinished for you to hem yourself.
Petite trousers can have turn-ups from 25"-29" (63.5 cm – 74 cm), and without turn-ups, can be hemmed from 25"-31" (63.5 cm – 78.5 cm), or left unfinished for you to hem yourself.
