Comments about Women's Stretch Knit Cords:
I reach for these trousers all the time as they are so comfy and keep their shape well. The addition of some zingy colours would get me reordering and would give this product a more modern image.

Comments about Women's Stretch Knit Cords:
Very pleased with the two pairs of these I have just bought. Comfortable and warm. I like the dark winter colours. The elasticated waist is a little big, but looks fine with a long-line sweater. I will wear these a lot.

Comments about Women's Stretch Knit Cords:
After 3 years or more of every day winter wear, I have just replaced my cord knit trousers with more of the same. And the reason for replacing? - I lost weight, and they were just too baggy! Otherwise, they would probably have lasted another 3 years! Certainly the best 'dog walking and every day' trousers around. They wash well, don't need ironing and are comfortable and warm. In fact, my latest ones seem warmer than the old ones - maybe I just washed them too often and they got a bit thin!

Comments about Women's Stretch Knit Cords:
I do not think you could wear these trousers to a party or occasion, however they are very comfortable for everyday wear, great colours and good length. great sale price too. I love them but would like more colours.

Comments about Women's Stretch Knit Cords:
I too am a wheelchair user, and appreciate the high elasticated waist that makes them feel sufficiently roomy to be comfortable, and practical too.
I love the fact they have come in warm browns like saddle and sand and I have several pairs of each.
Last winter I was very disappointed by the very dark colours available, so very dark there's scarcely colour in them at all. I sent them all back. Jollying up those dark colours by several shades without them going lurid would be a good thing.
They are very good value for money.
Sizing is sometimes inconsistent ie for example, order 3 pairs and they're all different sizes when they should be the same size and are marked as the same size, but there's been no problem having things replaced.

Comments about Women's Stretch Knit Cords:
Perfect for long haul flights and car journeys, as they have room to expand without looking baggy. They look equally good with a smart jacket or a fleece. They wash well and wear well. I have 6 pairs and some of them are 4 years old, but look just as good as the newer ones. I would like them to be a half inch or so longer, as I'm 5'9".

Q:
Do you ever do the tall stretch-knit cords in the small size?Asked on 1/7/2013 by Vanessa1 answer
A:
Due to customer demand, as is the case with the women's stretch knit cord trousers, our tall fit tends to start at a US size medium, (UK 14/16). I have passed on your comment to our Merchandising Team.Answered on 1/8/2013 by Sally from Lands' End
Q:
I love these trousers but the XL are always too long. You don't do XL in petite lengths, can you do different lengths in the regular sizing?Asked on 12/28/2012 by Cate from Scottish Borders1 answer
A:
These trousers are unfortunately, unavailable for custom hemming. Therefore, the only inside leg measurement available in the regular fit, is 30.5 inches.Answered on 12/29/2012 by Sally from Lands' End
Q:
can I order a different leg length I would like 28" inside leg if possible.Asked on 12/23/2012 by blue's mum from Redditch Worcs.1 answer
A:
Although the Regular fitting are all pre-hemmed at 30", if you order in the Petite fitting, they are pre-hemmed at 28".Answered on 12/24/2012 by Daniel from Lands' End
Q:
Is XL the largest size these trousers come in? (I'm not sure what 'plus size' means or how to order it as the sizing boxes on the ordering screen stop at XL. I don't want any extra length, just larger around the waist. Thank you.Asked on 10/15/2012 by Kate from Winchester1 answer
A:
Our plus range is larger in size but in these particular trousers they come with the same inside leg measurement of 30 1/2". If you enter style number 72139, you'll be able to see the colours and sizes we have available in this range and place an order if you wish.Answered on 10/20/2012 by Alex from Lands' End

How To measure
If possible, get a friend to help. To be sure of accurate readings, measure over the undergarments you’ll be wearing with your purchase, not over your outer clothing. If you need a tape measure, please e-mail us or call us, and we’ll whisk one off to you absolutely free!
Height
Stand in bare feet with your feet slightly apart and your back to a wall. Measure from the top of your head to the floor.
Waist
Measure around your waist at the height where you normally wear your trousers. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.
Hips
Stand with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Inseam
Take a pair of trousers that fit you well. Measure from crotch seam to the bottom of the leg.
Free Hemming
Most trousers can be custom finished with plain hems or turn-ups to the nearest 1/2" (1.5 cm). For styles where turn-ups are not available, no turn-up selection box will appear on the ordering page.
Regular trousers can have turn-ups from 27" 32" (68.5 cm 81.5 cm), and without turn-ups, can be hemmed from 27" 34" (68.5 cm 86.5 cm), or left unfinished for you to hem yourself.
Petite trousers can have turn-ups from 25"-29" (63.5 cm 74 cm), and without turn-ups, can be hemmed from 25"-31" (63.5 cm 78.5 cm), or left unfinished for you to hem yourself.
