I loved this swimsuit initially, but had to return it as it was falling into holes. Lands End replaced it willingly, but now it is discolouring which is very disappointing. I think it is clorine in the swimming pools that the fabric does not like. Otherwise, its a lovely swimsuit but don't swim in it. Its expensive just for sunbathing!!

A:
I think it’s best to look for a shelf bra style as anything else will be restrictive. Our other bra styles such as soft cup and underwire generally fit an A-C cup and in some styles we offer a D cup fitting and DD fitting. A shelf bra style is lined and has elastic underneath but does not have a specific cup size.Answered on 4/10/2013 by Sally from Lands' End

Thank you for your question - and I am sorry for the delay in replying. High levels of chlorine can break down the lycra in a swimsuit - and for this reason we would suggest rinsing the suit immediately after swimming (in warm water with no detergent). Accurate measuring is the first step in finding a suit that fits precisely. Measure over your undergarments and have someone help you, if possible.
Surprisingly, torso length has little relationship to height. A 5'9" woman may actually have a short torso and long legs. A 5'2" woman could have a long torso and short legs. We offer almost every suit we sell in both regular and long torso lengths to provide you with a better-fitting suit.
Torso
Run a tape measure full circle from your shoulder, over the fullest part of your bust, down through the centre of your crotch and back up to the starting point. Tip: start with the tape measure going over your back and up through your crotch for easier measuring.
Bust
With arms relaxed at your sides, measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Waist
Measure around your waist at the height where you normally wear your trousers. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.
Hips
Stand with your heels together, and measure around the fullest part of your hips, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Each suit is styled with one of the following leg openings.
Original offers the most coverage at the side and seat.
Cut 1.5'' / 4 cm higher at the side.
Cut 2.5'' / 6.5 cm higher at the side.
