So glad I bought this cardigan. It is warm, cozy and a flattering shape. It is a substantial weight yet not bulky. The shawl collar is especially flattering and neat. I haven't washed it yet so can't comment on that. Would love another in a different colour.

Whether it's suitable for work or a night-out depends on what you do/where you're going! I would definitely wear it for both because it's quite smart, nearly like a jacket. And it's got LONG sleeves! I bought it to replace something similar with 3/4 length sleeves which I don't like as I feel the cold terribly, plus sleeves ride up when I ride my little mobility scooter which I have to do to go any small distance - the sleeves on this are a good length (slightly overlong in fact, but then I know I have proportionally short arms!)
Looking forward to wearing it so, as it's yet unworn, I cannot comment on how it washes or warmth. I would need to layer it in winter but I'm sure, with the wool content, it will give a suitable layer of warmth on a typical British summer day.

Height
Stand in bare feet with your feet slightly apart and your back to a wall. Measure from the top of your head to the floor.
Bust
With arms relaxed at your sides, measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
