Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
I really like this coat. Downsize is that sleeves are slightly longer than I would expect for petite size, and the sleeves also feel slightly narrow at the end.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
Kept me warm and dry all winter in the worst of the weather. The knitted cuffs inside are great, even though I had a problem with the stitching coming loose - expect I could have returned for repair and would have if had bought at full price, but was able to fix it myself. Fleece lined upper body, collar and hood are lovely - would suggest needs a better way of tightening or fixing the hood so it stays up better in windy conditions.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
Pleased with this coat - was a replacement for the insulated squall which was a poor fit. I prefer the fabric on the former as it had a more 'matt' finish. Good , warm . lightweight coat for everyday use

The delivery was really quick. I am sure that this jacket is going to do all that I want of it. After the winter we have had I know that I will be really well protected and ready to face another just as cold.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
I wanted this for dog walking and it is ideal - very warm; true to product description. Wonderful long sleeves for a tall person like me! Sleeves are close fitting, so would not readily accommodate thick jumpers BUT you really don't need extra warmth on the arms, and the coat would easily cover thick sleeveless garments (though I have not needed extra layers). I would like a couple more inches on the hood depth - my only slight criticism!

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
Having purchsed a very smart one a few years back and been very pleased I hoped that this would equal it, However the design was bulky unflattering and not tailored with detail. This is the second one I have had to return.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
I will use this a lot, just what I wanted. I did buy a petite size because was in the sale, so it only just fits ok.
I also bought the storm squall in the sale & thats wonderful, warm as toast.
These coats are very nice as a bargain, but I wouldn't pay the full price.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
This parka is a useful addition to my wardrobe - just right for pulling on to walk to the post box or local shop. The colour is more 'wine' than 'aubergine', but I'm happy with it. The worst aspect is the hood which seems to be too wide at the back, but I can live with it!

Q:
Is this a roomy fit - I am between sizes 10/12 and 12/14 so not sure what size to orderAsked on 11/15/2012 by daffy from Isle of Wight1 answer
A:
We would suggest that the size S (UK 10/12) is suitable for a chest size of 35-36", and the size M for 37-38.5". It is designed to allow room for layering jumpers etc. undermeath, so please select the size as appropriate to you.Answered on 11/16/2012 by Stuart from Lands' End
