Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
I ordered this coat just at the begginning of the very cold weeks before Christmas and it proved a perfect choice! Good for walking in all weathers. Cosy fleece lining and hood. Lots of pockets including one for the ipod.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
My best outdoor coat ever. It keeps me warm, dry and has a double ended zip so that I can take long strides when I need to. It even looks good.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
I chose this coat because I wanted something warm and weatherproof for the school run. I am really pleased as it is more stylish than I expected, being nicely fitted and not too bulky. I am a UK 10-12 and the small size is perfect. A bulky jumper might make it feel tight across the shoulders but it is so warm I don't expect to need one. Another plus, while restraining 2 under 5's in morning traffic and rain, is the hood which is lined with fleece giving it some stiffness so it doesn't blow back or fall forward like my last coat did. Lots of pockets so no need for a bag - another bonus for me.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
Had one before and loved it. Only problem with this one is the pockets aren't as useful as in first one. Only 1 inside pocket - 3 last time. Very odd little zip pocket very high up. Love the colour

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
Great parka for rainy, cold days without looking bulky. Bought an arctic type coat last year for walking in the worst of the winter weather but it was too warm, heavy and generally not very practical. This parka has been excellent-fitting perfectly, keeping out the rain and cold as well as looking stylish.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
I'm a long-standing Lands End customer and was looking forward to wearing this, but the quality is not what I expect from Lands End. It looks as if the manufacturers have skimped on details to produce a garment at less cost to them and it shows! e.g. the velcro cuffs have thin strips and don't look sufficiently tight or durable; the zip fastenings look cheap and the fleece lining in the pockets feels cheap. The outside of the jacket has a shiny and thin nylon-ish look to it which compares poorly to my current waterproof (another make) which was much cheaper. I was expecting a robust garment that could withstand several rigorous winters on the east coast of Scotland but sadly this is not it.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
Beautiful jacket in a lovely colour (Blackberry) - I ordered the XS Petite size and it fits like a glove.
I also have the longer length Squall Coat which is incredibly warm - I expect this jacket will be too. I would definitely recommend this jacket for the winter months.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
Excellent for long walks in Australian winter. I'll use it most for dog walking, attending spectator sports, market shopping and country farm trips. A perfect, easy to wear casual coat, not dressy but nice and plain, so very versatile. It is easy to put on in a hurry and nice and comfortable with the lining. Previously I have used a bulky ski parka but this coat is so much better as it is lighter, the correct length and more comfortable with the fleece lining and classic design. For absolute perfection I would have a small inside pocket , but not a problem without.

Comments about Women's Squall Parka:
Not yet worn it, but bought the parka because I need a warm and weatherproof winter jacket for walking to work and for general country walking. It fits the bill perfectly from 'trials' at home.

Q:
How long are the sleeves on this coat in the petite size.Asked on 10/4/2012 by Bethie from Aberystwyth1 answer
A:
This will depend on the size you order. The sleeve measurement is taken from the centre back position (just under the collar), across the shoulder, down the outside of the arm to the cuff. The sleeve lengths range from approximately 31 1/2" on the XS to approximately 33 3/4" on the L.Answered on 10/5/2012 by Christine from Lands' End
