So light, so comfortable
When there are gym classes to take, errands to run, sights to see, active trainers are the shoes you need. Like the original this edition features near-weightless, flexible construction with a redesigned foam sole to cushion every step. The new mesh or jersey upper is completely re-engineered, trading the usual tongue for an all-round collar of soft neoprene for a smooth fit and sleek, streamlined aesthetics.
  • Your favourite active trainers, updated
  • Incredibly lightweight construction
  • Seamlessly integrated neoprene tongue, collar and upper lining are smooth and comfortable
  • Sleek uppers in mesh (teal, navy) or engineered jersey (grey heather)
  • Reflective pull tabs at front and heel for easy on/off
  • Foam-cushioned footbed
  • Super-lightweight, shock-absorbing sole unit
  • Polyester uppers/linings; faux suede heel trim

    Comments about Women's Active Trainers:

I'm not sure dispensing with the traditional 'tongue' for these trainers, in favour of the more streamlined design now adopted is a good idea. It means I struggle to get the shoes on and it is impossible without a shoehorn. Moreover, it means I must always carry a shoehorn with me because if I take the trainers off I will never get them back on again without it. As I have only a standard sized foot I imagine it would be well nigh impossible for anyone with wide feet. The overall shoe is the right size but the aperture is limited.
    My overall response is disappointment.
