How should I care for my Lands End Alpine boots in black?

      A:

Hello and thank you for your enquiry. We would advise that the best way of caring for these boots would only be to spot clean and air dry them when needed.

Are these snow boots reasonably waterproof e.g. For walking through snow and still having dry feet?

      A:

Hello, and thank you for your enquiry. I can confirm that these boots have a waterproof rubber shell. As such, they would be well suited to walking through the snow.

First I ordered the Mossy Bark (great color!) and when I tried it and found it comfortable and warm I ordered Coriander as well. A real bargain

Comments about Women's Alpine Snow Boots:

I was so excited to get these boots. They looked gorgeous. The feet fitted perfectly but then I couldn't zip the leg up. Just the same as another review I had read. Considering I'm 5ft 3 and only 8 stone - I'm not big, yet the leg wouldn't zip up unless I wore the thinnest of leggings which isn't exactly what I would plan to wear in snow or cold weather. Even wearing just simple jeans, the boots wouldn't zip up. I'm so disappointed. How could they get the design measurements so completely wrong. If they get the design problem sorted, I would definitely buy them. As it is, I need to return them for a refund.

Bought in the sale, but sadly too small so I returned. Just wish they had them one size up.

Comments about Women's Alpine Snow Boots:

Loved the look of these boots but when they arrived they were extremely difficult to get on , despite the side zip. On finally getting my foot in it was impossible to zip the boots up due to the extreme narrowness of the leg. What a silly design as you'd never be able to wear them with socks and trousers unless you have ultra thin legs. The look of them is brilliant but they are not practical. I have returned them, disappointed I have to pay return postage too!

Comments about Women's Alpine Snow Boots:

I bought the size 7 as its my usual size, but they felt quite a neat fit with no room for an extra sock or a thick sock. The side zip is very useful as you don't have to lace-up the front and this is the main reason why I chose them. They are quite slim in the leg as well so skinny/slim leg jeans are best. I debated whether to send them back and get the 7.5 but can manage nicely with wearing one pair of socks. Overall they feel light and comfortable.
