For warm summer days
Shoes don't come more summery than espadrilles. These keep the rustic rope soles, but take a more refined turn with an open, sandal-esque style. Add the comfort of foam insoles and the security of an ankle strap, and you can roam winding seaside streets to your heart's (and feets') content.
Features
  • Pretty espadrilles in soft canvas or raffia
  • Adjustable ankle straps
  • Foam-padded footbed with textile covering
  • Sole has classic jute detailing with a durable rubber base
  • Textile (cotton/polyester) uppers/linings

Comments about Women's Ankle-strap Espadrilles:

My first pair had been worn twice before the puppy used them as a toy! I had already commented how comfortable they were, particularly at my dance class. (It was too hot to wear my usual shoes), so I immediately ordered another pair- grateful they were in a sale.
I have wide feet and the fabric upper of these shoes had plenty of give, and there was enough padding in the sole for my needs, and with the strap they stayed on well.
However, the straps are very short. I could only do them up on the last hole.
I don't think these shoes would be worth the original price, but the sale price was good value. They are very flat and I'm not used to ankle straps, but I soon got used to these features and forgot I had them on. They are lovely and cool and just right for the hot weather.
I believe a friend was going to order a pair having seen mine.
I know this review varies from others, but give these shoes a chance!

    Comments about Women's Ankle-strap Espadrilles:

These shoes look great but I found them to be too uncomfortable for me. I am used to padded inners (like Skechers) and using orthotics or other insoles so this just didn't suit me. They may be ok on someone else though and you do have a money back guarantee from Landsend, so you could give them a go. I am a 7 without socks and the 7 were fine size wise.

        Comments about Women's Ankle-strap Espadrilles:

I had to return these as the fit was very bad. The toe section was so small, tight and cramped that I couldn't get my toes into it, while the ankle strap was ridiculously short and I could barely do it up even on the last hole and with the elastic of the buckle at full stretch. It's a shame, because they looked really good. Please take a look at the design and construction, Lands End.

            A:

            Thank you for your enquiry.

Please be advised that the soles are fairly flexible with the added benefit of a foam padded foot bed.
