Firstly, let me say that we are very aware of the issues in the feather and down industry which are primarily 'living plucking' and 'force feeding' which accounts for about 1% of the world's feather production.
Being aware of it we do take measures to eradicate the chances of it being used by our vendors. Our feathers are a by-product of the meat industry so there is no live plucking in the process. However, until the down and feather industry introduce a "chain of custody" process (as we have in paper), no retailer can give a 100% guarantee where all of their feathers have originated from.
So, an honest answer to your question: we are opposed to it, we are being vigilant and selecting vendors who we believe have a better control over their supply chain, but as of today there is no certified process or means to give 100% guarantees.
