Comments about Women's Spring Squall Parka:

Being a long time fan of the squall family I was keen to try the latest version.I am delighted and SO pleased there's NO Velcro around the neck! I've lost count of the ruined scarfs this has given me.As I hate umbrellas I always look for a decent hood which this has,the foldaway versions never work for me,they look sloppy out and the neckline is always too rigid with it folded up.I appreciate other opinions aren't shared so the zip off idea is fine. Please make this version longer as in the stadium squall which I also love in winter,a lighter version would be wonderful as long as it has a decent hood!

Summer dog walking jacket so plenty of pockets essential. Sleeves are a bit long and cuff adjustment is unlikely to keep out heavy rain.

Comments about Women's Spring Squall Parka:

I would buy this, it's exactly what I want, with decent sized pockets to take a sketch book and long enough to keep essential parts warm but I am between a size 12 and 14 so in the current sizing 10/12 is too small and 14/16 too big. This is a fairly recent development by Lands End and has caused me to have to return too many items. Therefore I shall not be buying. I wish you would go back to having individual sizes again. You do in trousers why not in tops?

Comments about Women's Spring Squall Parka:

Very happy to find a lighter weight version of the Squall parka that has been keeping me warm and dry during the winter. Tested the new jacket today when I got caught in a downpour and can confirm that it's waterproof! So good to be able to buy a jacket in a petite size that doesn't swamp me. Lovely shade of blue. Looking forward to using it on some long walks.

                Hi,

Will the plus size become available in Rich Red or will it only be available in yellow?

I would love to see more waterproof plus size coats in longer lengths but made of a light weight fabric. Longer length would be good because I can't hold an umbrella and push a pram at the same time and my jeans end up soaked by the time I get home. I think lots of women suffering with hot flushes would also like a lighter weight coat or at least a removable liner. A light weight coat is also easier to carry when I don't have the pram with me and it is easier to store when I do.

                Kind regards

I am sorry to say that this item will not be available again in Rich Red, however we will soon be introducing our new range for the Autumn/Winter season. I have also passed your feedback on to our Merchandising Team for further review and consideration.

This Parka is waterproof and has features such as the adjustable cuffs to completely seal the wearer in from the rain/wind. However for comfort there are air holes under the arm area.

                  Thank you for your enquiry.
The measurement is taken from the collar seam and down the centre back. I am unable to find out the height of the model, May I suggest that you measure a coat which you already have and compare the length.

Hello, and thank you for your inquiry. The upper lining of this coat is made of 100% polyester fleece, and is somewhat warm. The lower lining is 100% nylon, and is thinner and cooler to the touch than the upper section, though similar in weight to the outer body of the coat.
