Comments about Women's Luxury Terry Robe:

I ordered "his and hers" versions, and both had long threads hanging where the fabric had been caught. I hope this doesn't mean that I will forever be pulling through loops where jewellery etc catches the garment.

Comments about Women's Luxury Terry Robe:

I had been promising myself one of these Terry gowns as soon as they were on offer. I really like it. The petite sizing is a boon to me at 5ft and a bit, and the English Lavender colour is beautiful.

    Thanks again Land's End.

    Nice and snuggly

    By Rosa Alba

Comments about Women's Luxury Terry Robe:

A lovely shade of pink, with a substantial collar that envelops the neck area. A good length, and a belt also of a good length. One odd thing is that the belt loops always catch on any door knobs that I pass. I have other fluffy bathrobes and they also have belt loops, but they do not grab the door handles. I would buy this style of bathrobe again.

Fantastic after a shower, only need to dry feet and wrap up hair. Ordered a Medium, normally I have a small, so it is big but ideal for wrapping up in.

I recently bought the Men's equivalent of this for my husband, and am very impressed with it's quality (very soft, thick and huggable. Is this women's version of similar quality? I've sometimes noticed that items branded for use by women can be more skimpy than those made for men (I'm talking in general - no offence meant!).

The towelling robe would be suitable for both uses as a dressing gown and to dry yourself after a shower. The tightly-woven loops of plush, cotton terry, will absorb moisture, similar to a towel.

I have a Lands End white ladies cotton terry dressing gown which is getting a bit dingy.

            A:

Try this method to restore whiteness to your Terry Dressing Gown:-

Dampen clothes to be whitened with lemon, salt and sunshine. Pour lemon juice (2 cups or more) in the bowl and add 1 cup of salt; stir to dissolve. Put dampened clothing in bowl, soaking up all juice mixture. Hang garment outside in the sun for at least 6 hours or all day ( no metal hangers!), until dry and stiff. Rinse out juice and salt in cool water, check your results. For severely stained old cotton or linen garments, you may need to repeat this process several days in a row. If fabric is fragile, rinse thoroughly under cool running water, line dry and then--at last!--iron.
