Waterproof Squall takes on Mother Nature
Winter certainly brings out 'her' worst - cold, wind, rain, snow, sleet. And that's when it's time for our best – the famous Squall Insulated Parka. And it does the family name proud. With its waterproof, windproof, any-kind-of-weather proof features, it's guaranteed protection when winter comes full force. And its extra 50-grams of insulation in the lower body and sleeves adds even more warmth. Comfort details include a fleece-lined collar, adjustable cuffs with interior fleece cuffs and a drawcord waist. The Parka includes a pair of front pockets for money, keys, phone, tissues, cold hands. Plus there is an inside vertical pocket too. Antistatic fleece lining in the top half and hood resists shocks, lint and adds the cosiest feel. The bottom half is lined with 100% nylon quilting for easy movement. Shell/lower body lining 100% nylon. Fleece/insulation 100% polyester. Machine wash.

Approx. garment length: Regular size M: 87.5cm/34.5½'

Comments about Women's Squall Insulated Parka:

Lovely coat but just too big and bulky - I tried to exchange it for smaller size but it wasn't available in the colour. I have many items of Lands End clothing in size M not sure why this didn't fit. I exchanged it for a regular Squall Parka in medium which I am happy with.

I have had a Squall Parka for 8 years and very happy with the updated version (not the Squall Insulated Parka). It is great coat for dog walking in Autumn, Winter (with a gilet underneath when very cold) and Spring.

          • Q:

Your brochure says that this insulated parka has an extra 50 grams insulation yet the online details say 300-gram fleece and 100-gram insulation which is exactly the same as the squall parka - what is the correct insulation. Also the brochure temp rating is warmest where as on-line it is warmer?

              A:

This parka has 150g insulation in the upper body and sleeves. It also forms part of our warmest Winter coat range. Our apologies for any confusion caused.
