Comments about Women's Squall® Ski Pants:

I live on the coast and walk my dogs every day on the beach where the wind can be biting in winter. I have been searching for "ski" type trousers for ages but I'm only 5ft 2in and these were the only ones in a short length. They fit perfectly. Warm and waterproof but I do find I need to wear thin long johns underneath as the lining is cold against bare skin.

Comments about Women's Squall® Ski Pants:

I ordered these for skiing and bought them because of the leg length. I have one pair I still wear which I bought about 25 years ago and since then have searched in vain for trousers to fit. I'm 5'2". Children's ski clothes seem to go up to age 12 and are too small and adult sizes seem to be about 30" inside leg. The design means you can't turn them up easily.
So although the trousers are on the large side round the waist and legs they get 5 stars because of the leg length.

Comments about Women's Squall® Ski Pants:

Loved the look, but the petite size was still to large in the legs, BUT maybe I needed something different, I wanted something to walk around ski resorts, as I am not a skier, and these were really for active skiing, which would require more room for moving. So just need them for keeping warm on the snow, and not actual sport. Loved the look, material, colour though. Shame not right for me.

Bought these in anticipation of cold, wet, windy winter weather. They are warm, comfortable and fit well BUT make a very loud swishing noise when I walk. I would have given them 5 stars had it not been for this.

            Hello!
Tell please what temperature these trousers are expected? If is -15С or -20С in the winter, in them it will be warm if not to play active sports, and just to walk?

Lightweight insulation provides warmth. They are waterproof. I think that it would depend on how cold the weather was, during the Winter in windy, cold, wet conditions they would be ideal.
I am unable to find an actual temperature rating for this item, but they are designed for skiing in and cold weather.

These trousers do sit at the waist and as a guide the front rise on the medium size (UK14/16) measures 12 inches.

Yes, these do sit on the waist. And they have two adjustment tabs inside on either side of the waist to make the fit even neater - so no sagging at the back. They are great trousers. I have just come back from wearing them for a week's skiing and they were comfy, warm and weather proof, and looked fine for apres ski.
