Inspired by our love of the game.
At our Wisconsin headquarters, winter doesn't slow us down. In fact, when the first snowfall hits, we're just getting started. Like the rest of the Squall family, this coat is designed to take on the harshest forecasts with a waterproof, windproof shell and storm flap to help block out the elements. (And for you diehard fans, its longer length, plus 150-gram insulation puts plenty of protection between you and those cold stadium benches.) For comfort, we added cosy fleece inside the pockets and cuffs. We also included a chinguard to prevent accidental pinching when you zip right up! Two pairs of front pockets provide plenty of storage space. Deeply cosy, antistatic fleece lining in the top half resists shocks and lint. The bottom half is lined with 100% nylon quilting for easy movement. Shell/lower body lining 100% nylon. Fleece/insulation 100% polyester. Machine wash.

Approx. length in Regular size M: 113cm/44½ins

  • Bungee adjustable hood stows into collar when not needed
  • Hidden, two-way zip closure with rip-grip storm flap
  • Shaped for a more feminine, flattering fit with inner drawcord for extra waist cinching
  • Slightly dipped back hem gives more coverage

My 2nd Stadium Squall

By Angela

Comments about Women's Squall® Stadium Coat:

This was my 2nd purchase of the Stadium Squall coat in 2yrs. Loved my old one but it didn't like my ever expanding waistline so bought a 2nd in the next size up.

Overall this is a warm, exceptionally waterproof coat. You really can go out in torrential rain in this coat safe in the knowledge that water will not penetrate it. It is suprisingly breathable and can be comfortably worn without getting too hot. It is fairly warm but relatively lightweight.

Design has had a few changes, some of which are improvements and some which need to be dropped as they have spoiled a great design.

The pockets have been moved and now sit more comfortably for those of us who like to use them as handwarmers.

The insulation has been removed from the hood, its now just a shell fabric. This is a huge mistake which leaves the head quite exposed to bad weather and I seriously debated sending the coat back as a result.

Equally the knitted cuffs have been ditched for loose fitting fleece ones which is going to mean icy wind and rain will get in up the sleeves.

Overall still an outstanding coat, but preferred the old design.

Comments about Women's Squall® Stadium Coat:

I havve one of these from a few years back and it is brilliant, one of my best purchases ever. My 80 year old mother loves to watch my nephew play rugby and needed a warmer coat so I instantly thought of getting her one of these. They have been redesigned so they aren't quite as a good but still really snug. My mother is one of those elderly ladies that has gone really thin, but with other layers on (as you would expect for the typical use of this coat), struggles to get into it due to the narrow arms. Great once it is on, but it would be better if she could get into it unaided as then she would use it more often.

Comments about Women's Squall® Stadium Coat:

This product was well made, a lovely colour and seemed warm, if a little heavy to wear. However, it was HUGE. I ordered the smallest size available ( I'm a regular size 8) but it was so wide, it looked totally ridiculous on me, so sadly I had to return it.

Comments about Women's Squall® Stadium Coat:

I wanted a new Squall Stadium coat as my old one could do with a rest. Sadly the lovely Stadium Squall Coat has been redesigned and no longer suits me. Exactly the same size is now much too big, it billows out at the hips, has longer arms, it does not have the nice warmer lining and generally made me look awful! How do I find a comparable coat to the old style Squall?

I've been wearing this coat when the weather is particularly cold, wet or windy and it keeps me warm and dry. It reaches below my knees and the sleeve length is generous. The pockets are good and the lining is effective. I'm really pleased with it.

Comments about Women's Squall® Stadium Coat:

This coat is so practical: keeps off the rain, covers all the bits likely to get cold like neck, hands, knees. It has a double-ended zip front, plus velcro zip cover for maximum draught-proofing and flexibility. Colours are strong but not garish. The hood could be detachable, but the whole point is weatherproofing, so no problem. Only replaced my old one because needed a different size, but passed it on in fab condition after 3 years' wear.

I will give you the garment chest measurements for both the L (UK 16-18) and the XL (UK 20) which should help you decide which size to choose. The actual chest measurement is 51 inches (L) and 53 inches (XL). The 'sweep' measurement (around the bottom hem of the coat) is 55½" (L) and 57½" (XL).

                      Thank you for your enquiry.

Please be advised that this garment can be machine washed on a cool setting and tumble dried on a low heat, DO NOT DRY CLEAN.

Waterproof clothing should never be washed using ordinary detergent or fabric softener. The chemicals in detergent can break down the composition of the fibres with each wash and strip the fabric of its waterproof coating

We do recommend washing the coat as per washing instructions on the label but the waterproof will gradually wear down; Nik wax is a re-proofing product; however you would need to read the instructions prior to use as we cannot comment as it is not one of our products.

Hi, and thanks for your enquiry. Our Petite Fit only alters the length of the garment and sleeve length, so the rest of the garment measurements are the same as that for the Regular Fit. Sleeve lengths in a Petite are 1 1/2" shorter than a Regular. As a guide the sleeves on our Petite 'M' (UK 14-14/16) measure 33 1/8" from the base of the collar, centre-back. For all further assistance please call us on 0800 220 106.
