Comments about Women's Transitional Cotton Long Parka:

The parka is great for transitional weather, for travelling and use as everyday coat, the things that make me dissapointed is the material makes the coat looks "worn out" and it is very heavy for a woman's coat.

Comments about Women's Transitional Cotton Long Parka:

Good quality material, heavy duty double zip, hood a little big - falls too low over face making it difficult to see, but O.K. if worn with a hat underneath.

Comments about Women's Transitional Cotton Long Parka:

I was looking for a casual jacket for spring/autumn and this seems like it will be perfect. It has a detachable inner lining for cooler weather but without it will be fine for warmer days.
I'm 5'8" and a standard size twelve and I bought the small which fits perfectly, even over a winter sweater. The fabric is lovely, very soft, but feels substantial and I love the colour, raisin.
A lot of anorak style jackets on the market look a bit cheap and are often over styled and tacky looking, but not this one. Even better, it was a bargain in the sale.
My only gripe so far is that the inner pocket is constructed as part of the lining instead of being made from the main jacket fabric and I don't think it will last long once I start putting anything such as a mobile phone into it.

Comments about Women's Transitional Cotton Long Parka:

I hesitated to pay so much for a cotton parka, even with discount - there are plenty of cheaper alternatives - but I love it, and think it is actually (almost!) worth the money.
The cotton itself is a nice weight (not flimsy at all) and being 'peached' is lovely and soft. I'm not sure I agree it looks 'aged' already, but this style is not meant to look smart, and I like the appearance. I have the beige one, which I feel is the classic parka colour.
I like the detailing, and this is where I think you get what you pay for. That and the detachable lining, which has been incredibly useful. With the lining the coat is really quite warm, and without, it is perfect for the great British summer!

Comments about Women's Transitional Cotton Long Parka:

If you want a non-shiny, lined & warm jacket, not too short so your hips are well covered with a hood that doesnt get soggy in the rain, this is ideal. Berry is an excellent colour and the sizing was a bit generous, although plenty of room for jumpers underneath in the cold. Buttons and zip for good protection.

Not as good as the photograph

            By KS

            from Northumberland

Comments about Women's Transitional Cotton Long Parka:

I was disappointed when this parka arrived as the colour isn't quite the same as the photo. It's very dull and the fabric is rough looking. This means the parka already looks old before it has been worn. It's going back.

That's right, this is a cotton parka ideal for spring and autumn as an extra layer. If you need something for wet weather please take a look at our Rainstop Parka (style 410481).
