Comments about Men's Flannel-lined Comfort Waist Jeans:

I have bought two pairs of jeans in the last two months. The first pair, cord jeans, were too tight, returned them. I then bought flannel-lined jeans and went for 33" waist. These swamped me, so also had to be returned.

Comments about Men's Flannel-lined Comfort Waist Jeans:

My poor husband, I bought him these jeans as he loves a lined trouser for the cold, dreich winters. The 'comfort' waistband is bunchy and sticks out funny - even when worn with a belt. It is actually the pocket sewn on with elastic and sticks out about an inch, inch an a half. The pocket is actually open to the breeze and believe me, here you want less openings for the gales to sneak through. I guess they were supposed to be 'eating' pants with elastic for that much needed 'buffet' stretch. I didn't notice the term 'comfort waist' when I purchased them and I will not be buying anything with that term again. Lands End usually gets jeans very right, these have gone very wrong.

  • Q:

Is the stated waist size the maximum size, i.e. is 33" waist the maximum and would the adjustment of 3" take it down to 30". Or, does stated size of 33" stretch to 36".
Asked on 1/1/2016 by Janet from Lincoln UK

      A:

The comfort waist adds 3 inches to the size, therefore if you require a 33 inch waist, this will expand to 37 inches. We recommend ordering your usual size.

  • Q:

For the 34 inch waist, what is the width of the hem?

      A:

These jeans in a 34 waist are measuring 17 inches around the bottom of the leg.
