Comments about Men's Reversible Squall Jacket:

Jacket gave me excellent protection in driving rain/sleet. Zip is sometimes tricky to start and the jacket could do with a loop of some sort for hanging it up. Otherwise first class product.

Comments about Men's Reversible Squall Jacket:

This seems like a really nice coat - on the puffa jacket side, the shell feels quite thin and rippable. Other side seems sturdier though.

Beware if monogramming, the embroidery will only read correctly on the non-puffa side limiting its reversibility (i.e. it's back to front one way around).

What temperatures is it rated for?

This Jacket is one of our 'warmest' range, suitable for winter's cold and harsher weather. It has been tested as low as -30ºC.

      • Q:

My jacket came with a velcro strap on the neck on one side only. It looked as though it was intended to fix a rolled up hood but it far too small and made in such a way the hood could not be rolled into it.

Has anyone any ideas about this mysterious appendage? Maybe it could be mentioned in the instructions or on the website details.

          A:

On the smooth side of the hood, there is a velcro tab that can be used to adjust the size of the hood as it is being worn. I am sorry for the confusion caused.

      • Q:

How much does it weigh and how small does it pack down to?
Asked on 11/24/2013 by richardatbelair from Aberdeen

        • Staff Reviewer

          A:

The large size weighs approximately 854 grams. This is not classed as a packable jacket, but due to the down filling it will reduce down a little if required. If you prefer a fully packable style our Primaloft Jacket (style 426001) fits neatly into its own pocket.

I can confirm that the hood does not detach on this item.
