with this winter being so cold, wet and windy I'm wearing this coat a lot. I wouldn't expect to see this coat on a fashion catwalk but I'm happy to wear it to work and out and about generally. I'm used to pulling coat zips up with my left hand but Lands Ends coats need zipping up with the right hand which means a little more concentration to do the coat up.

Have worn this parka out walking in snow,sleet, wind and light rain. Has kept me warm and dry. The pockets, especially the inside one, really useful as many women's jackets don't have enough pockets for me. Bought in the sale I found this excellent value compared to similar items on the high street.

I used to dread playground duty in the winter, but this coat makes it much more bearable! It is lovely and warm, the hood stays up even in the wind, and the rain runs off it like water off a duck's back. The hand-warmer pockets are incredibly soft and cosy. It is not the lightest coat, but that does not matter to me - more important is staying dry and warm. I have been out in all weathers since I have had it, and am thoroughly satisfied - and it comes in purple - what more could anyone want?

As soon as my parka arrived I put it on and as I was immediately comfortable in it I kept it on to go to work in as the weather was pretty darn cold! I felt snug as a bug in a rug! I particularly like the hand warmer pockets they're great. Everyone keeps asking me where I got the parka from as it looks so warm and cosy. This is a great dog walking coat with it's many pockets for keys, mobile, spare lead & poo bags. The fleece lining makes it very warm & the fleece lined hood keeps the wind out. I would definitely recommend it.

Going by the size guide I should have ordered a M or L but I called them and these come up loose fitting and I did not want it loose so ordered the S size and it fits just right Snug but still roomy, I'm a 38 C, the coat is 45" bust, it does have a waist pull cord It's a great coat for walking my dogs, I'm very happy

Regular – Sleeves 34½ inches, Length 34 inches

With arms relaxed at your sides, measure the fullest part of your bust, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
