Obergurgl-Hochgurgl: Top Quality Skiing in The Diamond of the Alps

Thanks to the high Alpine location, Obergurgl-Hochgurgl at the southern end of Tirol's Ötztal Valley, opens its unrivaled 2015/16 winter season before all other ski areas do. NEW: Top Mountain Cross Point

Talking about mountain lifts: there is a new masterpiece of modern architecture - the Top Mountain Cross Point in Hochgurgl. Nestling in the foothills of the Timmelsjoch High Alpine Pass Road at 2175m altitude, the brand-new multi-purpose building has a lot to offer: it is the base station of the new Kirchenkar mountain gondola, a stylish panorama restaurant with table service, the Timmelsjoch Pass road toll station and Europe's highest Motorcycle Museum covering some 2600m2 (open from April 2016).
