Bayfield: the new coat with a history
Rewind 30+ years and you'd find this coat's inspiration in the pages of our US catalogue. Back then, the Great Scot Parka was a best-selling all-rounder, built to be warm and weather-friendly with equal measures of practicality and town-and-country style. You only have to check out the list of features to see how that heritage lives on in our new Bayfield parka (named after the northernmost county of our home state, Wisconsin): a tough, highly water-resistant cotton-rich shell decked out with plenty of pockets, and a welcoming brushed flannel lining to the hood and upper body. We've added a few modern twists to the tale, with high-performance PrimaLoft® synthetic insulation, and a home for your mobile/MP3 player. Bang up to date, but with an affectionate nod to our history; we think you'll love this versatile addition to the Lands' End family of winter coats.
