I bought this coat expecting something heavier, more like a trenchcoat, but it's a lightweight rustly fabric, and the removeable lining is also quite thin. Having said that, it is well made and looks very smart, so would be suitable to wear for work and business travel. Unlike the previous reviewer, I found the colour exactly as represented on my screen: a lovely scarlet red - not orangey or pinky but a true red. I like the colour, but am still trying to decide whether to keep it or not, since it's not quite what I was expecting, and is a bit of a crossover garment: feels like a casual waterproof anorak, but looks like a smart coat. It's thin, so wouldn't be suitable for cold weather, but long-ish so not really a summer item (unless very rainy!). Quality is good, and it fits well (I'm UK size 8-10, 5'7" tall and bought XS), including nice (long) sleeve length. Apart from light weight, only issues are rustly fabric and lack of a drawcord on the rather wide hood (volume adjuster cord only, which wouldn't help keep the hood on if windy). I may keep it, since though it's light weight, I can wear a suit jacket underneath.
