Inspired by our love of the beautiful game.
At our Wisconsin headquarters, winter doesn't slow us down. In fact, when the first snowfall hits, we're just getting started. Like the rest of the Squall family, this coat is designed to take on the harshest forecasts with a waterproof, windproof shell and storm flap to help block out the elements. (And for you diehard fans, its longer length, plus 150-gram insulation puts plenty of protection between you and those cold stadium benches.) For comfort, we added cosy fleece inside the pockets and cuffs. We also included a chinguard to prevent accidental pinching when you zip right up! Two pairs of front pockets provide plenty of storage space. Deeply cosy, antistatic fleece lining in the top half resists shocks and lint. The bottom half is lined with 100% nylon quilting for easy movement. Shell/lower body lining 100% nylon. Fleece/insulation 100% polyester. Machine wash.

Approx. length in Petite size M: 102.5cm/40½ins
Hello, can I wear this in summer? Or would it be too warm. Thanks

Thank you for your enquiry. This coat is described as one of our warmest. Ideal for harsh Winter weather.

Why don't you have non-detachable hoods on these now. I have an old one (and a newer version) which is well past it's sell by date with a non-detachable hood which I keep returning to all the time. It is just so much more comfortable than the one with the detachable hood as it is too bulky around the head. Can you create more choice maybe. Non detachable is better and I see another customer has mentioned it.

Thank you for your feedback. I will pass it to the relevant department for them to review.

I wear a UK size 18/20 and I'm not sure what size to order, could you please tell me what the measurements are in this coat? Also, what length is it? Thanks.

Hello and thank you for your enquiry. I would perhaps recommend going for the size up in this situation, as it is always possible to wear items underneath the coat. The garment chest measurements for this coat in both size L (UK 16-18) and XL (UK 20) would be approx. 51" and 53" respectively. The lengths at centre back in both sizes are 45 1/4" and 45 5/8" respectively.

I have owned the stadium squall coat for about 7 yrs. I love it, but now it has lost its waterproof layer. Can you recommend what should be used to re-waterproof please. I am looking at Nikwax TX Direct wash-in waterproofer, which is recommended for Gore-tex. Many thanks

Hello, and thank you for your enquiry. Whilst I would generally recommend that a replacement coat may be needed if the waterproof layer has been lost, I would also say that the vast majority of commercial waterproofing products (including Nikwax TX direct) would be perfectly suitable.

New stock on medium size 458397F75 due before Christmas?

We have now sold out of that size in the Stadium Squall Coat and unable to get more stock for this Winter.

Is the hood detachable? Thank you

I can confirm that the hood is not detachable but it does pack into the collar.

Are the storm flaps closed using Velcro or poppers?

Hello, and thank you for your inquiry. The storm flap on this particular coat has Hook and loop fastenings, as opposed to Velcro or poppers.

The catalogue received today quotes sleeves and lower body have 100 gm. Insulation whereas online quotes 150 gm. Which is correct please.

There is an error in the catalogue - this coat does have 150g insulation in the sleeves and lower body as shown on the website. Our apologies for any confusion caused.

How long are the sleeves in the regular size large?

Thank you for your enquiry. The length of the sleeves in the regular size large are 35", which is taken from the centre back of the coat and down to the cuff.

When will you get more of the black in stock - I had added a black size 20 to my shopping bag, got called away and then it said this size in black was unavailable!

Thank you for your enquiry. I can confirm that we have more stock of this coat in XL black around December 7th 2015, please call us on 0800 376 7974 if you wish to place your order for this.

I would buy this item again IF it had a full hood and NOT a

Living by the coast I need a good winter coat, in the past this has got the bill but not any more with a good away hood

Love this coat

Just love this coat, it's so warm and inviting but would urge Landsend to ditch the Velcro - hence only 4 stars as has ruined my favourite scarf.

A coat for the rugby!

I bought this coat because our rugby seats are in the open. When it's wet and cold, this coat is just the ticket!

reat winter coat

Great winter coat but perhaps not the most stylish; fits at the top, too generous in the middle (I have tried pulling in the waist with the toggles but little improvement) and then straight to the bottom. A bit more shape to the style would be good. It does the job though - keeps me warm and dry - so will not be returning.

My "perfect" winter coat

I up-sized risking the coat being too large but no, ideal fit and pleased with choice - allowing me choice to wear lighter or heavier winter clothes. Suits every occasion - dressed up or casual.

Excellent coat

Love this coat and the updated design. I have purchased a few stadium squall coats over the years mainly because of the long length. The style and fit have vastly improved over the years. I love the most recent purchase I made in colour eggplant a lovely vibrant plummy colour! However the only thingbI don't like is the contrasting coloured stitching on the inside of the collar which is yellow and navy. "Yellow"? Why spoil a lovely classic coat in a beautiful plummy colour by putting yellow in it?? I usually try to hide this by wearing a scarf! This would be the only downside for me and I would have much preferred it to be kept the same colour as the coat itself.

Love it

Only thing I don't like is the yellow stripes on the inside of the collar.

Could not recommend this produt

When my husband saw this coat he said it was "noisy" and he couldn't stand it - it had to go back.

I would recommend this product

This coat will be great when temperatures plummet! Very warm and a good cut. Fits well. Hope to get lots of wear out of the garment. Bought it at a bargain price!

Great coat for very wet weather

I spend my days out walking the streets and I had a 7 year old version of this coat that no longer cut it. This one is longer - I love keeping my legs dry, and warmer and feels more water proof - time will tell. On the other hand - I would love fleece in the high small pockets so that they could be hand warming.
