Hemming and turn-ups:
For your convenience we will hem or add turn-ups to your trousers free of charge. We can offer ‘parade-ground perfect’ military-style hems*. Below you will find specific hemming information for the types of trousers we offer. If you do not specify an inside leg length, your trousers will come unfinished. Please allow 1-2 days extra for delivery.
Men's Tailored trousers:
Regular: with turn-ups to 34" / 85cm. Without turn-ups to 36" / 90cm or unfinished.
Men's Casual trousers:
Regular: hemmed 26"/66cm to 33.5"/85cm, up to 31.5"/80cm with turn-ups. (If no length is specified, trousers come unfinished.) Please note that some corduroy trousers cannot have turn-ups.
Men's Jeans:
Regular: hemmed 26"/66cm to 33.5"/85cm. (If no length is specified, Jeans come unfinished.) Please note that Jeans cannot have turn-ups.
Women's Tailored trousers and Casual trousers:
Regular: hemmed 27"/68.5 cm to 34"/86 cm, up to 32"/81 cm with turn-ups. Petite: hemmed 25"/63.5 cm to 31"/78.5 cm, up to 29"/73.5 cm with turn-ups. (If no length is specified, trousers come unfinished.)
Please note:
Jeans cannot have turn-ups.

- Shipping charge may be adjusted based on order value and destination of the order outside the United Kingdom*

How to measure
If possible, get a friend to help. To be sure of accurate readings, measure over the undergarments you’ll be wearing with your purchase, not over your outer clothing. If you need a tape measure, please e-mail us or call us, and we’ll whisk one off to you absolutely free!
Height
Stand in bare feet with your feet slightly apart and your back to a wall. Measure from the top of your head to the floor.
Waist
Measure around your waist at the height where you normally wear your trousers. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.
Inside leg length (inseam)
Take a pair of trousers that fit you well; measure from crotch seam to the bottom of the leg. Pre-hemmed trousers often have a choice of inside leg (inseam) lengths; when selecting your size on the ordering page, the first number denotes waist size (in inches), the second denotes inseam (in inches).
Free Custom Hemming
Selected trousers can be custom finished with plain hems or turn-ups to the nearest ½"" (1.25 cm); when ordering, please choose your inseam length from the dropdown under ‘INSIDE LEG’. If turn-ups are available, they will be shown under ‘HEMMING OPTION’. You may also choose to have your trousers delivered un-hemmed (select ‘unfinished’).
Most trousers and jeans can be hemmed between 27"– 36" (68.5 cm – 91.5 cm) or left unfinished. Trousers may have turn-ups up to 34;" (86.5cm).
