Exchanges & Returns


We want you to be delighted with every purchase. However, if you have changed your mind and need to make a return, then simply follow the three easy steps below:

ROYAL MAIL OR COURIER SERVICE - YOUR CHOICE

You can return your parcel via Royal Mail from your nearest post office.

Alternatively - you can have your parcel picked up from your home by our delivery partners, Hermes.

STEP 1:

Please complete the relevant section of the packing slip enclosed with your order (guidelines can be found on the slip).

STEP 2:

You can arrange to have your return conveniently collected from your home by our delivery partners Hermes. They can offer a stated day collection and your parcel will be tracked all the way back to our returns department. The standard service will cost £3.00 including VAT. You will need to have access to a printer so you can print your delivery label. Visit the myHermes & Lands' End returns web page and follow the on-screen instructions.

Alternatively, you can use the Royal Mail by attaching the pre-printed address label from the packing slip onto your parcel (please note this label is not pre-paid).

STEP 3:

Return the parcel using the collect from your home myHermes service or Royal Mail Standard Services. If sending from a mainland Post Office we would recommend obtaining a 'proof of postage' certificate, available free on request.

Are returns free of charge?

Customers frequently ask us why we don't offer free returns on everything. The answer is we would like to but, if we did, the cost would have to be absorbed into the prices we charge for our products, which goes against our belief in honest, up-front pricing.

Want to exchange an item?

If you are returning an item but wish to reorder rather than simply being refunded, we will gladly refund the cost of your return postage AND send you a replacement free of charge. All we ask is that you return the item(s) to us unworn, in perfect condition, complete with all the labels and packaging, within 28 days of receipt. We will send your replacement(s) free of any post & package charge and will refund the cost of your return postage using Royal Mail Standard Services or My Hermes collection service.

Returning items bought from an outlet store or show stand?

If you wish to return items purchased from a Lands' End outlet store or show stand, please post them to us (as above) enclosing your receipt and details of where you purchased them. Please indicate whether you would like a refund or an exchange. (Please note, we can only exchange items for current catalogue or online stock.)

If you do not have the receipt, we will refund you the current or last known selling price for the item(s).

Need an exchange fast?

Complete Steps 1 to 3 as above (remembering to tick the box for a refund) and then simply call one of our Customer Sales Advisors who will be happy to take your re-order immediately. They won't be able to refund your returns postage at this stage (we need the parcel for that), but the items will be sent out to you with free shipping.

Returning a gift?

Include the purchaser's name and address and indicate how you would like us to handle your return - via an exchange, a refund to the purchaser or a gift voucher.
