Guide to Wearing Linen

Your Guide to

Wearing Linen

A simple guide to understanding, choosing and wearing our linen.

There’s a reason linen becomes a staple every spring and summer. Naturally breathable and lightweight, it’s one of the most comfortable fabrics to wear in warmer weather, helping you stay cool without sacrificing style - especially on those days when getting dressed feels like a challenge in itself.

Linen also has a unique texture that gives clothing a more relaxed, lived-in feel, making even the simplest outfit look effortlessly put together. It drapes naturally, works well layered through unpredictable weather and softens over time, becoming even more comfortable with every wear. Unlike heavier fabrics, linen never feels restrictive or overly polished which is exactly why it’s become the go-to for easy spring and summer dressing. The kind of pieces you throw on once and end up reaching for all season long.

What Makes Our Linen Different

We believe better linen starts long before it becomes clothing. That’s why we use certified European Flax™ fibres, grown in France, Belgium and the Netherlands under responsible farming practices, without GMO crops or artificial irrigation. It’s a standard that focuses on traceability, quality and care from the very beginning of the process. But what matters most is how it feels to wear.

Made to last, not just to wear
Linen fibres are naturally, 2-3 times stronger than cotton, so your pieces hold their shape and stay with you season after season.
Naturally comfortable in warm weather
The open weave allows air to circulate easily, helping you stay cool and comfortable when temperatures rise.
Light without effort
It never feels heavy or stiff, which is why it works so well for everyday dressing, travel and warmer days.

Made to get better with time
Instead of wearing out, linen softens. Each wash and wear makes it feel more relaxed, more familiar, more yours.

For us, it’s about choosing linen that feels easy in every sense, considered in how it’s made, and effortless in how it fits into your life.
Pieces you don’t have to think about but end up relying on.

How to Care For your Linen

Linen is one of those fabrics that’s refreshingly low maintenance, and part of its charm is that naturally relaxed, slightly creased look. You don’t need to overthink caring for it, just a few simple habits will help your pieces stay looking and feeling great for years.

Step 1: Check the care label first
Every piece is slightly different, so always start with the care instructions inside your garment.

Step 2: Wash gently
Either hand wash in lukewarm water or use a gentle machine cycle.
Use a mild detergent and avoid high heat or harsh chemicals, which can be too tough on the fibres.

Step 3: Handle with care
Once washed, gently press out excess water.
Avoid wringing or twisting the fabric, as this can affect the natural shape and texture of the linen.

Step 4: Air dry naturally
Reshape your garment while damp, then hang or lay flat to air dry in a cool, shaded place.
Try to avoid tumble drying, as natural drying helps maintain the quality of the fabric.

Step 5: Iron if needed
The open weave allows air to circulate easily, helping you stay cool and comfortable when temperatures rise.
Linen naturally creases, but if you prefer a smoother finish, iron while slightly damp for the easiest result.

FAQs

Your questions about linen, answered.

Linen wrinkles because it’s made from natural flax fibres that don’t have much elasticity. The fibres shift and crease easily with wear, especially in warmer weather. It’s completely normal and part of what gives linen its relaxed, effortless look.

Linen can shrink slightly if exposed to high temperatures during washing or drying. Because it’s a natural fibre, it reacts more to heat than synthetic fabrics. To help maintain the shape and fit of your pieces, always wash on a gentle cycle with cool or lukewarm water and avoid high heat when drying.

Linen is made from natural flax fibres that are breathable, lightweight and gentle against the skin. For many people, this makes linen a comfortable everyday fabric that feels soft and easy to wear without heaviness or irritation.

Linen is made from flax, a natural fibre that requires more time, care and skilled processing to turn into fabric compared to many other materials. The result is a premium fabric that’s made to last and made to be lived in. Linen naturally holds its shape while still feeling relaxed, softening over time with every wear and wash. It’s one of those rare materials that improves the more you wear it.

Wear It, Live In It, Love It

Linen is made for everyday life not just special occasions or holiday wardrobes. It’s what you reach for when you want to feel comfortable, but still look like you’ve made an effort. Think warm mornings, school runs, weekend plans that turn into dinner, or packing light for a trip away. A linen dress works as a complete outfit in seconds, while a simple linen shirt layers easily over swimwear, tucks into denim or pairs with relaxed trousers depending on the day.
It really shines in spring and summer, when dressing becomes lighter and more instinctive. It’s perfect for those “I just need something easy” days. And the wrinkles? They’re part of it. Linen isn’t meant to stay perfectly smooth. The creasing is what gives it that relaxed, lived-in feel. Wear it slightly undone, roll the sleeves, leave it open - it’s meant to feel easy, not controlled.

Our Linen, Your Way
Linen isn’t one look - it’s a full wardrobe of easy pieces designed for every hour. From relaxed shirts and trousers to easy dresses , skirts and lightweight layers, everything is designed to feel breathable, comfortable and effortless from the moment you put it on. On warmer days, it’s about keeping things simple. On busier days, it’s about feeling put together without thinking about it. And across every season, it’s about clothing that feels better the more you wear it.

However you wear it, the idea stays the same - comfort first, effortless style always, and linen that feels better the more you live in it.
