How to Measure
To be sure of accurate readings, measure over the undergarments they’ll be wearing, not over their outer clothing. If you need a tape measure, please e-mail us or call us, and we’ll whisk one off to you absolutely free!
Stand in stocking feet, with feet together and back to a wall. Measure from the floor to the top of the head.
With arms relaxed at sides, measure over the fullest part of the chest and shoulder blades, keeping the tape parallel to the floor.
Measure around the waist (not over trousers) at the height where trousers are normally worn.
Stand with heels together, and measure around the fullest part of the hips.
No need to size up!
It’s always a temptation to order a larger size, to allow for shrinkage and to provide room for growth. But we’ve already accounted for that. After normal shrinkage from a washer and dryer set on ’low’, our clothes will still fit properly, with room for growth spurts.
