Cashmere Meets Casual
There are few fabrics as instantly recognisable as cashmere. Soft, refined and often
associated with the smarter side of a wardrobe, it can be easy to think you already know
exactly how it should be worn. Eve sees things differently.
For her, the appeal lies in bringing that unmistakable softness into the clothes she
reaches for every day, rather than saving it for somewhere special. Cashmere becomes
something to live in - slipped on with her favourite denim, effortlessly thrown over a
shirt or added to an otherwise simple look because the texture alone adds something extra.
She’s drawn to the contrast between how luxurious the fabric feels and how casually it can
be worn, keeping the rest of the outfit instinctive rather than overly considered. It’s
that balance that makes it more wearable and it makes cashmere feel less like a finishing

Soften The Rules
The first rule? There doesn’t need to be many. Eve gravitates towards cashmere with a
little more personality, looking beyond the neat neutral jumper to subtle yet impactful
shapes, details and shades that shift expectations.
A quarter zip changes the mood immediately as the neckline alludes to something sportier;
a roll neck in a bold hue gives the fabric a more relaxed attitude; a cardigan worn as the
main event rather than neatly layered over something else adds intrigue.
Proportion plays its part too. A slightly roomier silhouette can make cashmere feel more
casual, while shorter lengths and unexpected necklines offer a fresh alternative to the
classic shapes we know well. Eve pushes this further with her styling.
Instead of pairing cashmere with equally polished pieces, Eve creates contrast with washed
denim and loose, fluid outerwear. It’s a high-low mix of formal and functional and gives

Cashmere For The Months Ahead
As we move further into autumn, the changing temperature starts to shift the way we get
dressed. Mornings become a little cooler, evenings ask for an extra layer and knitwear
slowly works its way back into our everyday without the wardrobe needing to change
overnight. Cashmere feels particularly suited to that in between moment: light enough to
wear before colder weather fully hits, yet indulgent enough to make the first return to
knitwear feel like something to look forward to.
Eve’s approach makes it even more immediate. There’s no sense of waiting for lower
temperatures or a smarter occasion, the jumper comes out because it works with the jeans
already in rotation, the cardigan joins a late-summer layer, the quarter zip gets pulled
on when the temperature drops after 5pm. That ease takes cashmere away from the idea of
being something precious and brings it much closer to real life, ready to make an ordinary
