How to measure
If possible, get a friend to help. To be sure of accurate readings, measure over the undergarments you’ll be wearing with your purchase, not over your outer clothing. If you need a tape measure, please e-mail us or call us, and we’ll whisk one off to you absolutely free!
Height
Stand in bare feet with your feet slightly apart and your back to a wall. Measure from the top of your head to the floor.
Waist
Measure around your waist at the height where you normally wear your trousers. Keep one finger between the tape and your body.
Inside leg length (inseam)
Take a pair of trousers that fit you well; measure from crotch seam to the bottom of the leg. Pre-hemmed trousers often have a choice of inside leg (inseam) lengths; when selecting your size on the ordering page, the first number denotes waist size (in inches), the second denotes inseam (in inches).
Free Custom Hemming
Selected trousers can be custom finished with plain hems or turn-ups to the nearest ½" (1.25 cm); when ordering, please choose your inseam length from the dropdown called ‘Inside leg length’. If turn-ups are available, they will be shown under ‘Hemming finish’. You may also choose to have your trousers delivered un-hemmed (select ‘Unfinished’ from the ‘Inside leg length’ dropdown).
Most trousers and jeans can be hemmed between 27" – 36" (68.5 cm – 91.5 cm) or left unfinished. Trousers may have turn-ups up to 34;" (86.5cm).
